2006 State Wrestling Tournament

Dates: Fri. & Sat., February 24 & 25

Location: Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University

Directions: From I-85 take I-385 into Greenville

Exit onto North Pleasantburg Drive

Follow N. Pleasantburg Drive about 5-7 miles

Take the exit to Old Buncombe Rd., at the stop sign turn Left

Take a right at the next light onto Duncan Chapel Rd.

¼ mi. to Timmons Arena on the right

Parking: Use the lot on your right, beside Timmons.

Team Entrance: Behind Timmons, at the loading dock

Check in: Tables will be set up for each division for Team Packet distribution.

Packets will include passes for each wrestler, two coaches and one

manager / trainer

Entry Fees: $25.00 for one wrestler and $50.00 for two or more wrestlers

made payable to SCHSL. *please make all attempts to have this

sent to the SCHSL Offices prior to the tournament OR bring the entry

check with you to the check in table.

Hospitality Room: Meals in the hospitality room are for wrestling coaches and officials

ONLY! Colored wrist bands given for two coaches in your team

packets must be worn to gain entrance into the hospitality room.

Wrestler’s Seating : Team and wrestlers are to remain in section C until their weight

class is called to the staging area for warm up.

Staging will be held in the warm up area below section C

4:30 Wrestling – 1 Championship round followed by 1 Conso round

Saturday – 8:00 Weigh in

9:00 Championship Semi-Finals

11:30 Consolation Semi-Finals

2:00 Consolation Finals

4:00 Introduction of the All-State Wrestlers

4:30 Championship Finals
